Rogue Traders Facts
  • The founding members of the Rogue Traders are James Ash and Steve Davis who met in London in 1989.

  • Steve Davis is still a member of the Rogue Traders and is based in the UK. He contributes as a songwriter.

  • The Live Band consists of Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Lead Vocals), James Ash (Keyboard), Tim Henwood (Guitar) and Cam McGlinchey (Drums).

  • Natalie joined Steve and James as a band member at the end of 2004. They all worked together on the "Here Come The Drums" album.

  • The two men on the front of the original "Here Come The Drums" album (Australian Version) are Isaac Moran (Guitar) and Alon (Drums). They also appear in the "Way to go" music clip.

  • After Way To Go, Isaac and Alon were permanently replaced by Tim Henwood and Cam McGlinchey.

  • The band name "Rogue Traders" comes from the movie "Rogue Trader".

  • There is a secret message on the album "Here Come The Drums".

  • "We Could Be Zeroes" was the original name of the song "We're Coming Home". Somewhere in "We're Coming Home" you can still hear James sing "We Could Be Zeroes"

  • Melinda who is James's wife co-wrote many songs on the "Here Come The Drums" album.

  • "Here Come The Drums" took around 2 years to complete. The band had around 30 songs to choose from in putting the album together.
