'x' Makes Their First Ever Post To You Guys!, "Love From 'X'" Options

A BIG hello to all you wonderful people out there!

Wow! This is an exciting moment for me…my first official contact with you guys. Firstly, let me tell you, I have heard so much about you all and can see from your supportive, funny, kind, and sometimes zany posts what a cool bunch of people you are. Soon we will meet (in good time of course ….trust me it’s killing me too!) and the journey ahead is going to be amazing for all of us. For me, this is a wickedly exciting time and such a significant moment in my life. It’s mind blowing that I sit here at my computer writing this as the new lead singer for the Rogue Traders. I honestly feel like I’m about to get on the world’s biggest rollercoaster, and you’re all coming on it with me! I’m pumped, excited, happy, impatient, nervous…..I’ve got the full spectrum going here, it’s incredible.

I myself, like you guys, have been a Rogue Traders fan over the years. I’ve always had a great deal of respect for them and have loved watching them stomp such significant footprints on the Aussie & International music scenes. I also loved their ability to evolve and change shape, all the while keeping their unique essence. Now for me to be a part of this next phase and the future of the band is amazing. From my first meeting with the RT crew I knew right away that these were the guys I had been looking for on my musical journey. The energy between us was explosive, the timing perfect….it seemed the planets had aligned. The music that they’d been working on for the new record instantly inspired me, and who they are as people made it certain. You just know when it’s right. I’m sure I don’t need to tell you guys what amazing and talented people James, Melinda, Steve and the crew are. I’m sure you all know. I do feel like I’m becoming part of the furniture now. I’m getting used to my new ‘la la’ room, particularly feeling at home with a couple of Blondie pics around the place. James assures me that soon he’ll be driving me nuts …. however I’m sure it will work both ways….hehe : )

So I can’t tell you much about myself yet, but here are some ‘X’ info bits;

I have been singing for a long time, ever since I was a lower case ‘x’. Music has been my life for most of my life. Where would we be without it?? Can you imagine?? I don’t want to.

As James has eluded to, I may actually not be an Earthling.

I stay up way too late and I’m a little noisy.

& I love animals.



Now, as you all know we are busy writing and recording album number 4. So what to expect?? It’s going to be a killer! Lots of cool stuff we’re working on, and we can’t wait to get it to you.

Cool guys, well thanks for being patient, it will be worth it we promise. We know it sucks being kept in the dark, but life would be so boring without surprises! And don’t forget, I want to know who you guys are just as much as you want to know who I am, so we’re all feeling a little suspense here ; )

Your loyalty and support is what drives this band and the RT crew are so, so appreciative of the energy you guys give. So keep rocking, stay tuned and before long the next phase of the RT journey will kick into overdrive.

At firts I thought I could just sit and wait patiently for RT to give us more info. But now after reading that it's crazy! I'm litterally on the edge of my seat waiting for what's coming next.
You sound like the perfect addition to the band. you sound like you will defonatly be bring your own unique style to it.
