My News 4 The Week Options

Hi Girls & Boys,

Starting now I'll be giving you some Weekly News and here's the first edition...

THE ALBUM...
Friday last week was our final day of recording vocals for the 4th Rogue Traders Album! Very exciting stuff. I can't believe that I have been part of the band for almost a year now. It has really flown. It really dawned on us the other day when we opened up a version of one of our new album tracks and it had vocals on it that I had recorded on January 22nd 2009! It was a recording I did during the audition process. WOW it really spun me out to see that it had been near a year ago. SO here we are, one step closer to setting this new album out into the universe. Something that between us we have poured our heart and soul into for over a year. We are so pumped to get it out there and can't wait for you to hear something that is special to us and something that we are very proud of. For me it has been such a wicked time joining forces with James, Melinda, Steve, Tim and our newest member Pete. It has been an exciting and extremely rewarding year for me, doing what I love with such talented & fab people. So into 2010 we head.

THE TENNIS...
Now as you all know we are playing the Australian Open on Jan 31st before the Men's final. What an honour that is! It's going to be a freaking awesome gig and we can't wait. We went and visited Melbourne Park last week, had a chat to the lovely people of Tennis Australia and played with some racquets.

WHAT'S FUN THIS WEEK?
3 things beginning with 'O'

Orange. My inglot orange nail polish, orange lipstick and my orange jumpsuit are bringing me lots of enjoyment this week.
The Ocean. Salt water is wonderful. My car looks like a beach at the moment, but hey it's all part of the summer experience.
OH Sheila by Ready For The World...I danced to a band that covered it the other night and it's funky funky shit.

I keep writing the same thing at work, which ends up in me having to re write a few documents which is a pain in the backside!
